The Networking and Social committee plans events designed as either opportunities for individuals to meet other members working in fields of interest to them or as purely social activities to create rapport within the chapter. A "networking hour" is generally planned prior to the start of any career oriented event. In addition there are two formal networking events each year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall that are members only events. Social events occur throughout the year and are often planned and executed by those who suggest the activity, so please feel free to suggest some activity that would be of interest to you. These events are open to non-members as well as members.
